I'm sure most of you have heard about Lauren Scruggs' story. She accidentally walked into a spinning airplane propeller, lost her left hand, left eye, and suffered shoulder and brain injuries. I remember hearing the story on ET while we were on vacation back in the beginning of December, and I thought I wouldn't hear much more about it.  Then about a week of so after we got back, I read an update on her (somewhere, I can't remember where) and there was a link to her Caring Bridge site, so I subscribed to it. Her parents mostly, have been posting daily on there, and even though I don't know them, I love reading the updates because:
Their strength is inspiring.
Their faith is inspiring.
Lauren is inspiring.

Lauren's story really makes you think. In one second, one instant, your life can be changed forever...but she is choosing to glorify HIM throughout this amazing and inspiring...

  1. It's such a tragic story, but this family is using it to glorify God is beautiful ways! When I first heard the news, I started crying. We prayed for her in my small group. And I don't even know this girl! Thanks for sharing the Caring Bridge link.
